#your swimming lesson

About me
My name is Giulia Grasso, and swimming has shaped who I am—both in and out of the water.
Originally from a small town near Venice, Italy, I built my competitive foundation in Europe before continuing my athletic and academic journey in the United States at Queens University of Charlotte. As a freestyle specialist, I became an NCAA Division II National Champion in the 500-yard freestyle and contributed to national championship relay performances.
I hold a degree in Exercise & Sport Science from Queens University of Charlotte and two Minors in Health Science and Sport Marketing, which allows me to apply biomechanics, physiology, and evidence-based training principles to every lesson and session I design. In addition, I also have a foreign Bachelor Degree in Motor Science from University of San Raffaele in Rome, Italy.
My international background enables me to combine European technical precision with the American performance-driven approach, creating a complete and adaptable teaching style.
By blending both systems, I provide instruction that is technically sound, motivating, structured, and adaptable to every swimmer’s goals.
I’ve obtained several certifications including NASM Corrective Exercise Specialization (CES), Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute (ATRI), NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Sports Performance Clinic certificate (NSCA approved), Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid, BLSD certificate.
